What are the Issues to look for?
How does one observe the existence of Systemic Bigotry and Unethical Behaviour? In what manner does it display itself? These questions can be simply answered in four words: the lack of Integrity. First and foremost, one observes the existence of terms and terminologies that divides rather than unite. (i.e., as one peruses Declarations, Charter language, Legislative wording and Statues installed to regulate and govern Labour and their Industries, written to be easily overlooked, while being the basis of institutionalized unethical discrimination).
Surreptitiously, it stares one in the face, hidden in seemingly lofty verbiage; words with a claim of unity, equity, and equality, yet are divisive in their nature and usage. What is given with one phrase is removed with the next; should one look more closely into their context. Where the Bigotry and Unethical Behaviour are institutionalized, the content takes more away than is initially given. It is here, one finds the Invisible Issue, the Systemic Bigotry and Unethical Behaviour embedded in current Ideology; without change or alteration, they perpetuate the bigotry and inequity ad infinitum.
Based on ignorant self-interests - Bigotry; a System of Discrimination, is a flawed Social Construct by its inception, its rhetoric, and its inequitable ideology; maintained and codified in failing Legislation, not only in Canada, but across the World. Truthfully, it is documented and well established that Mankind is One Race; a singular Race - the Human Race; divided by Colour - yes; divided by Ethnicity, Language, or Culture - yes; divided by Religion - yes; divided by Sex, Gender Role, even Identity - yes; divided by National Boundary - yes, but divided by RACE - NO!
One cannot scientifically conclude that all Mankind has a single ancestral origin of Sub-Saharan Africa, then claim an alternate Racial Ancestry for some. Claim Evolutionary Ancestry, Regional Ancestry, Cultural Ancestry, even claim a Religious Ancestry, but an alternate Human Ancestry (Race), this cannot be claimed by reason of Skin Colour, Ethnicity or Culture. There is only ONE RACE: The Human Race – period.
Written by hand of Unethical Bigots during a misinformed and unethical Past, institutionalized through legislation, and enforced through the tyranny, oppression, repression, and often times violent aggression perpetrated by one Group or Culture against another. Evidence of Unethical Behaviour and Bigotry embedded by decree and engraved as inequitable Legislation & Law:
- The Charter of Rights and Freedoms
- (The Constitution Act of 1982)
- The Ontario Human Rights Code
- The UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights
How does one commit, ethically to view inequitable and unethical laws, to fight against an ideal or ideology created to reinforce the laws one must eradicate as a Social Advocate? How does one use personal values to make hard choices, when they are based on injustice? How does one reform Justice that it is Equitable and Ethical for ALL? What is the “right fit” for one’s usage of discrimination to eradicate discrimination?
The Ethical Dilemma raised seems insurmountable as any has observed throughout the centuries. This ethical dilemma did not emerge over night; it was wrongly created centuries ago and reinforced to exist in perpetuity, but the lies must end, here and now!
It should be addressed with all due haste, if Mankind is going to walk into their collective Future united, equal, and free from discrimination, and the unethical systemic bigotry engraved in the legislation that governs the lives of Mankind. That is Our Purpose!
